This week we are very excited to talk with our newest friend from the UK, the incredibly talented artist/illustrator Luke Preece. Like a lot of people, we were introduced to Luke initially through his rendition of Luke Skywalker and were then blown away by the consistent, high-level work he produces. Listen as we talk with Luke about the people he has learned from, how he's combated negative feelings about his art, his move into gallery work and some of his future projects. Luke is a Graphic Designer and Illustrator based in the West Midlands, UK. He's a passionate fan of sci-fi, fantasy, music, comics, and movies, all of which he channels into his work.
For the past 16 years, he has been working in the video game, comic, fiction and music industry. Clients include 2000 AD Comics, Rebellion, Solaris Books, Radiant Worlds, Sony Music, Music For Nations, Metal Hammer, Topps Star Wars and more. He also collaborates with various galleries including Garageland and Hero Complex Gallery on limited screen prints for various exhibitions, gig posters, and events.
